EH 102: Tools for the Multimodal Argument: Home

This guide will help you with your public multimodal argument. Make sure you use images from these resources!

Multimodal arguments allow you to create a nontraditional "essay."  Multimodal genres blend text, image, and other elements.

This guide will show you how to locate images, videos, and music that you can use without having to worry about copyright.  It will also introduce you to some tools for creating and editing multimodal presentations.

Everything in this guide is FREE, although you may be asked to create an account.

Starting out

These tools can help you brainstorm images and outline and check your project.

This worksheet can help you figure out what kind of images you need.

You might want to begin your work using a storyboard to visuallize your content.

Make sure you can answer these questions before presenting or publishing your final project.
