What is Google Scholar?

Google Scholar's website describes this database as "a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites."

In Google Scholar, you'll need to set your preferences to show UAB Libraries holdings. From your results list, click on the link for Find it @ UAB next to the citation to see the availability of the resource.
