Case Studies for Engineering Home

Introduction

In addition to their being exposed to the theoretical and technical elements of engineering practice in their courses, students also need an appreciation and understanding of the complex and multifaceted nature of real-world development environments. An excellent way to address this need is to introduce case studies into the curriculum. The goal of this guide to help students (and faculty members) locate appropriate case studies among the resources made available by UAB Libraries. The guide provides

  1. a list of e-books that include collections of case studies related to the topics treated in the books,
  2. a list of academic journals that regularly publish case studies in engineering-related subject areas, and
  3. a quick and easy way to search the Compendex database for case studies on specific topics
