Embase at UAB Libraries: Managing Results

Results Screen

When you click 'Search' from any search form the Results screen will appear. You can also reach this screen by clicking 'Results' from the top bar. At the top of the Results screen is a search box where you can enter more terms; limits and subheadings are under this search box. The main part of the Results screen is History, which shows all the searches for the current session. The search currently displayed is highlighted and the records list, or Results, appears under the search History.

Filters for refining the result set are on the left. Items from the same filter will be added to your search with OR and items from different filters will be added to your search with AND. Please see the video, Refining Search Results (below) for more help.

Limit to Embase records only

This Fast Start guide to searching Embase shows you how to quickly exclude MEDLINE citations from your search results by using the Sources filter.
