EndNote X8 is the latest version of EndNote licensed by UAB. Watch the video below to see the new features included in this version of EndNote.
Note: Before downloading EndNote X8 or using the sync feature, it is STRONGLY recommended that you create a back-up copy of your EndNote library. To do this, go to File > Compressed Library in EndNote.
EndNote X8 is now available to eligible members of the UAB community. This new version of the software can be downloaded from the AskIT Software & Subscription Resources page. EndNote 8X is compatible with Windows versions 7 to 10 and OSX 10.10 - 10.12 on Mac, and in this version of the software libraries can be shared with up to 100 other users at one time.
EndNote X7.7.1 update critical for EndNote connections to external databases. In EndNote, some online search functions, such as connections to PubMed through the EndNote interface, have stopped returning results. This is due to mismatch between PubMed's updated security settings and the security information contained in previous versions of EndNote. To correct this problem, install the EndNote X7.7.1 update, which can be downloaded by clicking the Check for Updates item in the EndNote menu on MAC. On Windows machines, the Check for Updates function is listed under the Help menu.
