Electronic textbooks are available online via different platforms.
Number of Users
Limited user ebooks can only be used by a certain number of concurrent users.
If the limit has been reached, you will need to wait and try again later.
Unlimited user ebooks can be used by an unlimited number of concurrent users.
Digital Rights Management
DRM ebooks have limitations on downloading, copying, printing, saving, and emailing.
DRM-free ebooks do not have limitations on downloading, copying, printing, saving, and emailing.
Download / Read Online
Do not download (check out) the entire DRM ebook. This reduces the number of copies available for use and the download will only be good for a limited number of days.
Instead, download the chapter or pages that you need. If you run into the page limits, download what you can and then go back later or use a different browser. These downloads do not expire nor do they block a copy from someone else.
You can also use the read online option to help make the DRM ebook available to others.
