This guide will introduce you to the LabArchives software, which is freely availalble to the UAB community. UAB has a subscription to the Electronic Lab Notebook and the Inventory packages. The Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) makes it easy to record and organize research projects and data. The Inventory helps labs organize and find all the physical stuff (consumbles, chemicals, freezer boxes, stocks, etc.) associated with research.
Step 1: Go to LabArchives to sign in to your account. Click on "Sign In" and then on the desired application in the drop down menu.
Step 2: Select UAB from the dropdown menu and follow the single sign on process.
The LabArchives website is a great place to learn how to get started with the application.
If you have questions or suggestions reach out to the LabArchives Help Desk, or contact the UAB site-wide administrator, Marla Hertz: mihertz@uab.edu.
