The UAB Libraries are committed to the spirit of open access. They participate in several Read & Publish Agreements with major publishers that completely cover APC charges for UAB authors. They also offer limited APC funding to UAB authors through an APC funding pilot program. Authors are encouraged to contact the UAB Libraries Office of Scholarly Communication for help with open access publishing.
