The UAB Libraries participate in a Read & Publish Agreement with the publisher Wiley. The Agreement allows lead or corresponding authors affiliated with UAB to publish open access in any Wiley or Hindawi fully open access journal (articles submitted on or after January 1, 2024) or in a Wiley open access hybrid journal (articles accepted on or after January 1, 2024) at no charge to the author as long as funding is available. Qualifying articles must be a primary research or review article. Once institutional funding is expended, UAB affiliated authors will 
still be eligible for a 15% discount on APCs if they choose to publish open access.
