NIH Public Access Policy: Manage Compliance Using My Bibliography and My NCBI

The Awards View now available in My Bibliography makes it easier for you to manage publication compliance with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Public Access Policy.

To get started, create a My NCBI Account or link an existing account to your eRA account.

After linking a My NCBI account to your eRA Common account, choose the Award view in the Display Settings drop-down as shown above.

On the resulting page, each citation will be identifed with a color that indicates compliance.

For each publication, you will be able to:

• see whether your publications are compliant with the Policy
• identify those to which the policy does not apply
• start the manuscript submission process wizard for each publication
• associate your NIH extramural awards with publications 

You can designate one or more delegates to manage your bibliography using the "Edit settings" link on the My Bibliography pages.
