Digital images are electronic resources that need to be used responsibly and with an awareness of copyright and ethical best use practices. Some of the image databases that Lister Hill Library subscribes to on your behalf include a license for UAB users to incorporate the images in presentations and other works. Most databases and websites provide information about how their images can be used. It is your responsibility to observe the rights of copyright holders. Images should be cited in the context of where they are used.
