EndNote Online (formerly EndNote Web): from CINAHL (& Other EBSCO Databases)

This guide is intended to assist users of EndNote desktop in using the online/web version of the EndNote program.

Export from CINAHL

The process of moving citations from CINAHL (and other EBSCO databases) into EndNote Online is very simple. To learn how to export citations from within the CINAHL database to your EndNote Online account, see the instructions below.

1) Add citations to your CINAHL folder by clicking the Add to folder icon below the citation(s) you are interested in

Next, click the  icon located at the top of the page

Check the box(es) next to the citation(s) you want to send to EndNote Online and then click Export on the right

Select Direct Export to EndNote Web from the export screen and click Save (Note: If you are not already logged into EndNote Online you will be prompted to do so)

In EndNote Online,

click on the Unfiled link on the left hand side of the page to view and manage your newly imported citations
