There is one Ultimaker S5 3D printer located in Sterne Library 3D Printing. The Ultimaker 5S is a dual-extruding printer and has a temperature and humidity controlled filament hopper.

Slicer Software
The UltiMaker S5 printers are accessible in the 3DPrinterOS cloud-based 3D printer management software. All UAB students, faculty, and staff who complete required 3D printer training will have remote access to the printers managed in 3DPrinterOS.
UltiMaker-flavored Cura is also available as slicing software for the UltiMaker printers. The software can be downloaded from the UltiMaker Cura website.
